Jeff Suppan was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Dyersville Jurassics won in dramatic fashion over the
Tombstone Huckleberries by a score of 4 to 3 at the ballpark.

Dyersville won the game with a rally in the 9th inning scoring 2 runs using 3
hits. Barry Larkin kicked off the action when he hit a single. After an out
was recorded, Tony Womack stepped up to the plate and he lashed a single.
Womack got a good lead and stole second. Gary Matthews Jr followed and he
banged out a single driving in a run. Victor Martinez came to the plate and
hit a sacrifice fly scoring the final run of the inning. Dyersville totaled
10 on the afternoon.

Suppan(1-1) allowed 3 runs on the game. Armando Benitez(0-1) ended up with the
loss in relief. He pitched 2 innings allowing 3 hits and 1 walk.

'I pin this one on my own shoulders,' Benitez said. 'The bottom line is I
didn't get the job done. Our fans deserve better than this.'
